Navi Mumbai International Airport will waive landing charges for international flights initially. Aviation regulator AERA approved changes to the airport's incentive scheme for airlines. This move aims to encourage airlines to establish and sustain international services. Landing charges will be waived fully for the first year and then reduced. The incentive now applies to new routes launched directly from Navi Mumbai airport.
